1. Terms and Conditions

Welcome to GK Tech Solutions. By engaging with us through purchase orders, quotations, or service agreements, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure transparency and protect both the buyer and GK Tech Solutions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. General:

• 1.1 GK Tech Solutions supplies products under the brand name “Gk” as well as other reputed manufacturers.
• 1.2 We act as a reseller, distributor, and supplier of laboratory instruments, digital solutions, DSCs, computers, and IT accessories. Some products may carry GK Tech Solutions branding, while others are supplied under the original manufacturer’s brand.
• 1.3 Product specifications, models, and availability may change without prior notice as per manufacturer updates.
• 1.4 Product images shown in catalogues, brochures, or communications are for reference only. Actual products may differ slightly in appearance without affecting functionality or performance.

2. Orders and Confirmation:

• 2.1 Orders will be processed only upon receipt of a valid purchase order (PO) or written confirmation of quotation acceptance.
• 2.2 For government tenders and institutional supplies, official purchase orders and required documentation must be provided in the prescribed format.
• 2.3 Verbal or informal confirmations will not be treated as valid orders.
• 2.4 GK Tech Solutions reserves the right to accept or reject any order without assigningreasons.

3. Pricing and Payments:

• 3.1 Prices quoted are exclusive of applicable taxes, duties, freight, and handling charges unless otherwise specified.
• 3.2 Payment terms will be clearly mentioned in the quotation or invoice. Orders will be executed only after receipt of advance payment or as per mutually agreed payment terms.
• 3.3 All payments must be made through authorized banking channels in the name of GK Tech Solutions. The company is not responsible for payments made to unauthorized persons or accounts.
• 3.4 Delay in payment beyond the agreed period may attract interest or penalties as percompany policy.

4. Delivery and Shipping:

• 4.1 Delivery timelines depend on stock availability, product category, and destination. Tentative delivery schedules will be shared at order confirmation.
• 4.2 For government and institutional orders, delivery will strictly follow the PO/contract terms.
• 4.3 For private orders, delivery will be arranged through approved transport/logistics partners as mutually agreed. Once goods are handed over to the transporter, risk and responsibility transfer to the buyer.
• 4.4 Any shortages or damages in transit must be reported to the transporter immediately and informed to GK Tech Solutions within 48 hours of receipt.

5. Warranty and Service:

• 5.1 Laboratory instruments, electronic equipment, and accessories generally carry a manufacturer’s warranty (typically 6–12 months) limited to manufacturing defects.
• 5.2 Products supplied under third-party brands are covered strictly as per the original manufacturer’s warranty policy. GK Tech Solutions will assist in coordinating claims but is not liable for manufacturer delays or refusals.
• 5.3 Warranty is valid only if the product is used under normal operating conditions and not subject to misuse, mishandling, unauthorized repairs, electrical surges, or environmental damage.
• 5.4 Consumables, wear-and-tear parts, batteries, electrodes, pipette tips, glassware, andsoftware are not covered under warranty.
• 5.5 For Digital Signature Certificates (DSCs), no physical warranty applies. Issues will be handled strictly as per statutory guidelines of the respective Certifying Authority (CA).

6. General:

• 6.1 Products once sold cannot be returned or exchanged, except in case of genuine manufacturing defects reported within 7 days of delivery.
• 6.2 All returns must be pre-approved by GK Tech Solutions and returned in original packing with proof of purchase.
• 6.3 Customized or special-configuration products (e.g., Hydrothermal Autoclave Reactors with custom volumes, computers with specific configurations, etc.) are strictly non-cancellable and non-returnable.
• 6.4 Digital products, DSCs, and software licenses are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
• 6.5 Returns and replacements for government/institutional orders will follow the respective PO/contract terms.
• 6.6 GK Tech Solutions may cancel an order due to stock unavailability, technical errors, orregulatory restrictions. In such cases, monetary refunds will not be issued; instead, order credits or replacements will be provided where applicable.

7. Compliance and Legal Requirements:

• 7.1 All products comply with applicable Indian standards wherever available. Buyers are responsible for verifying the suitability of products for their intended application.
• 7.2 For DSC issuance, buyers must comply with rules of the Certifying Authority (CA), including KYC, identity verification, and documentation.
• 7.3 GK Tech Solutions acts only as a Registered Partner of the authorized CA and is not responsible for misuse, fraud, or illegal use of DSCs.
• 7.4 Buyers must comply with all government regulations, tender rules, and procurement guidelines when purchasing through tenders or institutional channels.

8. Limitation of Liability:

• 8.1 GK Tech Solutions is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use a product.
• 8.2 The company does not guarantee suitability of products for every application. Buyers must verify suitability before placing orders.
• 8.3 Technical specifications, accuracy, and performance may vary depending on usage and environment.
• 8.4 The maximum liability of GK Tech Solutions shall not exceed the value paid by the buyer for the specific product or service.

9. Intellectual Property:

• 9.1 All brand names, logos, catalogues, product descriptions, and website content are the intellectual property of GK Tech Solutions and cannot be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.
• 9.2 Unauthorized use of our brand or products for resale, promotion, or misleading representation is strictly prohibited.

10. General:

• 10.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.
• 10.2 For private and institutional orders, disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu (India).
• 10.3 For government tenders, disputes will be handled as per the resolution mechanism stated in the respective tender/contract.

2. Privacy Policy

Information Collection: GK Tech Solutions collects personal information from users for the purpose of providing and improving its services. This may include contact information, billing details, and other relevant data.

Information Usage: Personal information collected by GK Tech Solutions may be used for communication, billing, and service delivery purposes. User data is treated with the utmost confidentiality and is not shared with third parties without explicit consent, except as required by law.

Data Security: GK Tech Solutions implements appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of personal information. This includes encryption, firewalls, and regular security audits.

Termination: GK Tech Solutions reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts that violate these policies or engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior. Users may appeal account suspensions or terminations through the designated channels.

All content provided by GK Tech Solutions, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and images, is protected by copyright laws. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on GK Tech Solutions' copyrighted content without prior written permission.

Users are permitted to use GK Tech Solutions' content for personal or non-commercial purposes only. Any unauthorized use of copyrighted material may result in legal action.

GK Tech Solutions respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. Any reports of copyright infringement should be directed to GK Tech Solutions' designated copyright agent.
